Rastogi MatheMagicians Club is looking to bring together creative, mathematical mentors who share a passion for helping students succeed and can serve as a role model for their younger classmates. Check out our open positions below and apply to join our team!

Eligibility:

• Must be in college

• Must be a STEM major

• Must be accomplished in math, preferably in math competitions

College students are invited to apply for the following positions:

• Tutor for Private Tutoring (Paid)

  • Our tutors work one-on-one with students to help them grasp challenging concepts through personalized curriculum plans.

Eligibility:

• Must be in high school

• Must have some experience in leadership positions and/or managing students

• Must have accomplishments in math, preferably in math competitions

Note: curriculum and materials for mentoring will be provided.

High school students are invited to apply for the following positions:

• Mentor for After-School Group Meetings

  • The After-School Group Meetings are for interested elementary and middle school students who want to succeed in competitions such as MATHCOUNTS and AMC 8. We teach students how to tackle these problems simply and efficiently in our bi-weekly meetings, and give them relevant homework to work on over the break between classes. Mentors manage a group of anywhere from 1 to 10 students, actively engaging with their students to help advance their knowledge of subjects/concepts they find difficult.

• Mentor for Reading Group

  • Our high school mentors work with our Reading Group's talented elementary and/or middle school students to help the develop their math skills and prepare them for math competitions.

• Fundraiser

  • Fundraisers are responsible for securing funds for the MatheMagicians Club.

• High School Ambassador

  • High school ambassadors are responsible for recruiting students for the MatheMagicians Club.

• Must be in middle school

• Must have accomplishments in math, preferably in math competitions

Middle school students are invited to apply for the following positions:

• Ambassador

  • Our middle school ambassadors help recruit students for the Rastogi MatheMagicians Club from their school and other networks.

• Mentor for Reading Group

  • Our middle school mentors work with our Reading Group's talented elementary school students to help the develop their math skills and prepare them for math competitions. Curriculum and materials for coaching will be provided.
